The Nature In Us

A sensory folk high school subject about humans, nature, and presence

The Nature In Us is a sensory and reflective folk high school subject at Højskolen Mors, where we explore humanity’s connection to nature – both the external nature around us and the inner nature within ourselves.

Through practical exercises, shared nature experiences, and personal reflections, we work on understanding our place in the world and our relationship to everything around us. The course is ideal for those seeking personal development with a focus on nature, body, and consciousness.

Learning in nature – with body and senses

The teaching combines movement, silence, conversation, and creative expression. We spend time actively in the nature of Mors and use it as a learning space.

Here we work with:

  • Presence and awareness
  • Bodily awareness and sensory perception
  • Reflection on thoughts, emotions, and life choices

Nature becomes a mirror where you can discover new sides of yourself and gain perspective on your life.

Personal development without performance pressure

In The Nature In Us , the focus is not on performance, but on experience, insight, and immersion.

Through guided exercises and shared reflections, you get the opportunity to:

  • Feel yourself more clearly
  • Find calm and direction
  • Understand yourself as part of a larger whole

You become part of a safe and open community, where there is room for both silence and conversation.

Experience nature – and yourself – on Mors

At Højskolen Mors , you get a unique opportunity to combine nature, reflection, and community in beautiful surroundings.

Du kan også kombinere Naturen i os med fagene Society & Existence and Sociologi.

Are you ready to feel nature within yourself?
