Together, we explore the many facets of film — from traditional genres to experimental formats.
We work closely with the local cinema, BioMors, where you will conclude the program with a professional film premiere in a historic theater.
At Højskolen Mors, we currently use DaVinci Resolve, one of the most renowned tools in film and media production. The program combines editing, color correction, visual effects, motion graphics, and sound post-production into one powerful software used by both beginners and professionals worldwide.
With DaVinci Resolve, you learn to work efficiently and creatively without switching between multiple programs. You get the opportunity to work with high-quality footage throughout the entire production process—just like professional filmmakers do in Hollywood.
The teaching at Højskolen Mors is practical and hands-on, giving you experience with a tool that can take your ideas from concept to finished product. Whether you're a beginner or have experience in film production, DaVinci Resolve provides you with the tools to elevate your projects to a professional level.

Jannik Dahl
Film Production and Video Art Educator
Jannik holds a Master’s degree in Film Studies and is a trained film director from 18Frames. As a director, he has created several award-winning short films, including Trekanter af Lykke, which ranked in the Top 10 on Ekko’s Shortlist. Over the past 10 years, he has worked professionally in the film industry in various roles — as a director, screenwriter, assistant director, actor, and also as a Pre-Jury member at the Odense International Film Festival.
Most recently, he created the Instagram web series Kampen for Tilværelsen, which competed in the main competition at Series Mania in Lille. On the side, Jannik is part of the podcast Sløjtlæsning, regularly performing across Denmark, including shows at Comedy Zoo in Copenhagen and Teatret Svalegangen in Aarhus.
Jannik is an educator in Film Production and Video Art.
